By car from Johannesburg & Pretoria it will take you approximately 2 1/2 hours to reach Dullstroom. From there, you will find the Walkersons turnoff approximately 10km from Dullstroom on the road to Lydenburg. 4km of tarred road winds down into the estate valley.
By Air – Runway
For light aircraft there is a 1000m long, 8m wide asphalt runway and for helicopters there is a helipad. Anyone using these facilities is required to sign an indemnity form as you use either of them at your own risk.

From the main gate
Long-term Estate visitors staying more than 24 hours Driver’s License & Vehicle License Disk scan
On arrival at the main gate, the visitor’s driver’s license and vehicle license disk are scanned. This procedure will be followed for every entry and exit even if the visitor enters and exits the Estate on numerous occasions.
Visitors will be issued with a BLUE ‘visitor’s card’ which needs to be displayed in the car and visible at all times whilst on the Estate.
Manual registers are only utilised if there is a problem with the scanners
Once you pass through the security gate of the Estate, proceed along the black top road until you see the runway on your left hand side. Turn left onto Runway Rd– caution when crossing the runway as it may be active. Proceed down this road , cross the river bridge and turn right onto Watersmeetway Rd (if you look over to your right, you will see WILLOW WEIR COTTAGE .)
